Granite Center Farmers' Market |
| |
The Granite Center Farmers’ Market recently announced its return to downtown Barre, courtesy of negotiations jump started by the Barre Partnership. Beginning May 17, the Aldrich Public Library will host the market on its large front lawn. Approximately 30 vendors sell their agricultural products, baked goods, prepared foods and crafts at the event – the only Thursday farmers’ market in the area.
The Granite Center Farmers’ Market will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. every Thursday through Oct. 11. Ample parking is available at the library, on the residential streets surrounding it, and in the two nearby municipal lots. There is also free two-hour parking on North Main Street in downtown Barre.
